Zeit (October 8) has reviewed a new book on EJ: Horst Seferens, _Leute von uebermorgen und von vorgestern - Ernst Juengers Ikonographie der Gegenaufklärung und die deutsche Rechte nach 1945_, Philo Verlags- gesellschaft, Bodenheim 1998. Seferens seems to claim that EJ has undergone no change of heart since the 1920s. He is according to the author a rightis nationalist. Has anybody read the book? Who is the author? A leftist? Obviously Seferens is using _Aladins Problem_ and "Eumeswiel" to demonstrate that by using mythological language EJ manages to criticise democracy without being overly political. Best wishes Bertil Haggman
