The race for #42

Now this I call an active List and an exciting project when DIE SCHERE #42 
provokes one translator after the other to try his hand! Walter and Andre-Paul, 
you beat Gary and me indeed! In fact, our translation was ready before your 
postings, but I had the bad luck to get robbed in Marseilles and not only my 
laptop but also a lot of SCHERE work I had done while on a hiking tour will be 
for sale now on the flea market there. So I had to do some crisis management 
before I can now post our translation as the third horse in the race. Some notes
