Sorry - made a slight error on the syntax yesterday evening (it was late and I'd just been to a presentation by Logica who won't give me a job due to my current lack of software engineering skills. Their loss!). To get, say, the archive for February 1997, the mail body has the following syntax: get ernst-juenger-l ernst-juenger-l.9702 To obtain the full list of available archive files from the software send the following: index ernst-juenger-l Note that that is an "l" as in lion at the end and *not* a "1" as in one. If you use a signature file, then put the following on the next line of your email to Majordomo: end Otherwise Majordomo attempts to turn your signature into commands it understands - which it won't. And the mail has to be sent to the following address: Majordomo@maillist.ox.ac.uk Anyhow, it definitely works, as I've just tried it myself. My apologies to anyone who tried it out with the wrong syntax. Best wishes from Oxford where the sun's shining for once.
