Nope. The book you ordered is by Sebastian Junger, an American writer. =
His account of a swordfish boat being crushed in a massive storm off the =
coast of Massachusetts became an instant bestseller when it was =
published in 1997. It was subsequently turned into a blockbuster movie =
starring George Clooney and the guy who used to be in New Kids On The =
Block, forgot his name.=20

I haven't read "The Perfect Storm" so I can't comment on its quality. =
But I read a long article on Sebastian Junger in (I think it was) GQ =
last year, which made me think that he probably shares more with Junger =
than just the name. Like Ernst Junger he also seems to be attracted by =
danger and war zones -- he went to Kosovo, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and =
Kashmir and wrote about his experiences there for magazines and =
newspapers (Junger's book "Fire", published this year, contains most of =
these articles).
=20
Btw, Sebastian Junger was one of the last people who did an interview =
with the legendary Afghan guerilla leader Ahmad Shah Massoud before he =
was assassinated just a couple of days before September 11th.=20

  Hello,

I recently ordered a Dutch translation of "On the marble cliffs". The =
bookstore where I was yesterday had "De volmaakte storm", translated: =
"The perfect storm". ISBN: 9035119355. They had to order it...

The only description which was given was: "A spectacular history of =
mankind in battle with..."

Is this an E. J=FCnger book or not (they searched for Junger though) =
and could not give me any details about it...

  Met vriendelijke groeten, Best regards,

  C.A. Moerland
