Juenger and Cuvier

In _Prognosen_ and elsewhere in the
writings of EJ the French scientist
Georges Cuvier plays a not unimportant role.

"Viele Anzeichen sprechen dafuer,
dass eine Erdrevolution die Welt-
revolution umschliesst und bestimmt.
Auch das waere eine Wiederholung,
allerdings in einem grösseren Zyklus,
in dem nicht nach historischen 
Epochen, sondern nach Erdzeitaltern
gemessen wird. Das naehert sich
Hesiod in mythischer Hinsicht,
und wissenschaftlich Cuviers System."
