-- [ From: Richard Brem * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- Here's an interesting detail: Science Fiction writer Philip K. Dick, of "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" (="Blade Runner") fame, dedicated the German edition of his book "The Man in the High Castle" (which won him the highest SF honour, the Hugo Award in 1963) to Ernst Juenger. The dedication reads: "An Ernst Juenger fuer 'Auf den Marmorklippen'" and can be found on p. 5 of the paperback edition of "Das Orakel vom Berge" (Bergisch Gladbach 1989, ISBN 3-404-24117-7). The dedication sounds somewhat cryptic, but if you're familiar with both "High Castle" and "Marble Cliffs" you know how it's meant. Regards, RB - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Do you like our owl?" "It's artificial?" "Of course it is." Charming little dialogue between Rachael and Deckard, both artificial (from the movie "Blade Runner")
