As an American, I am sorry to say that I have not read Philip K. Dick,
even though friends around me are big fans. I much prefer Borges.
However, I can remind list members that the film, BLADE RUNNER, was
based on one of his stories, and I believe he had a hand in its
production. Seen on the big screen, it is texturally one of the great
achievements of cinema. A real environment, a real "other world" is
created. I would hope that you could rent a video of the film, in
whatever town you are in. If you're in the forest, then forget about it
and enjoy nature.
