Once you accept the idea of the totalitarian, immanentist, absolute State, you cannot 
accept competition.  There must be only one Fueher--that means getting rid of all 
your potential competitors.  That doesn't mean they were pacifists...

Thanks for the "small provocation" but I remain
unprovoked and ask you to read about the
struggle of the Freikorps in the service
of the legal government of Germany to stop
the Soviets to establish a red government in
Germany after the bolshevik coup in Russia 1917.
Read and ponder and you will see that that the
Freikorps saved Germany. But some Freikorps
leaders joined the National Socialists, I am willing
to admit, but that does not mean that all were
"brown".
