He told me that the direct translation into English of "emboscadura" was ambush, which surprised me, because that does not carry any of the implications of Waldgang except "bosque" or "woods". He was also inclined to say that "Ranging the forest" and "ranger" might be more suitable translations. The "vote" is still out... This term comes from the word "bosque" (forest) and it means the act of getting into the forest. "Der Waldgänger" is translated by "El emboscado". I wish you good luck with your translation.
