Hello all,

I felt I should add my voice before everything is decided.  I would vote
that we read _Eumeswil_ together for a number of reasons.

First, there is a readily available English translation, which is useful
for those of us who are in America and without access to German book
sources or useful libraries.

Two, just like Mr. Friese, my hero is Manuel Venator.  (You couldn't
have guessed that from my e-mail address, could you?)

Three, it represents EJ's thought in a very mature stage, and takes a
very wide view, allowing one to see what EJ thinks on a very broad
variety of topics.

There's my vote, for what it's worth.
