ernst jünger in cyberspace

mailing list archive - Re: Reading

Today on radio broadcast in Swissland there was an interview with an 80
ys old actress who is a Jungerite. She had of course made remarks about
the prejudices against EJ mainly in today's Germany, mostly by people
who did read about Jünger but never acutally read a text by him. She
recommended for new readers small essays, e.g "Am Sarazenenturm". Is
this translated into English?

The actress actually met E.J. They fixed a date, place was: Zurich
exhibition of low vertebrates 1970. In front of the cage of the black
mamba, to be exact.

To give my vote, it would be for Eumeswil, but only parts of it because
as a whole it is too long.
