Zeus nimmt an der Schlacht der Götter und Menschen teil als an einem
Schauspiel; es erregt ihn, und er wägt ab: das Schicksal ist stärker als
selbst er.  

Schicksal, fate, fatum. Latin for "spoken". Who spoke? Kronos as the
father of Zeus, or another of the titans? Or Gea the olde bitch? Or - as
the muslims put it -  insh'allah, the Lord has spoken? Or is it the
other way around: The Lord exists because we have to believe in him?
