Dear Mr. Guilmain, I don't know if there is any direct reference to Simmel in J=FCnger's journal= s or other works. I'll check. But Martin Meyer, who devoted a whole thick boo= k on J=FCnger's work and life quotes Simmel lot. I would be glad to write = a short article on J=FCnger and Simmel on base of Meyer's research. I'll publis= h soon myself an article introducing my students to Simmel's theories, where = I stress the similarities between Simmel and Heidegger. I can already send yo= u a copy by e-mail, if you don't mind. Please tell me by answering this message. I mainly used Meyer's book for analysing the relations between J=FCnger and Gehlen (p. 405), Schmitt (P. 414) and Fechner (p. 525). The book is a real source of knowledge about J=FCnger's background. This tremendously interesting book is now available in a pocket edition, bu= t unfortunately was never translated into French, Italian or English. Sincerely yours, Robert Steuckers. PS: Martin Meyer, "Ernst J=FCnger", Carl Hanser Verlag, M=FCnchen/Wien, 1990; ISBN 3-446-15904-5. If I remember well, the pocket edition is available by the DTV publisher (Deutsche Taschenb=FCcher Verlag) in Munich.
