Greetings, all!

<< The general tendancy we can see is that what we have got here is an

scene with the New Right. >>

There is no doubt that this tendency does exist, but I think that it is a
great deal smaller than the copious amount of internet material would
suggest. Speaking from personal experience, the vast majority of the bands
(and audience) related to this genre are fed up with these "Nazi"
accusations. I could relate some quite disturbing stories of police
harrassment for merely listening to some music in one's garden, expressing an
interest in Heathenism, etc. I am sure that all of us should have sympathy
with this sort of wrongful persecution, when even admitting to an admiration
of EJ can lead to problems! All the EK et al "Kameraden" seem to know one
another, and probably consist of a handful of people. Basically, I believe
that this cross-over (such as it is) is due to some less enlightened people
misinterpreting the imagery and standpoints of some of the more important
groups on this scene. Despite this, I'll admit to liking the music and
aesthetics of Dagda Mor and Turbund Sturmwerk, but that doesn't mean that I
agree with all their views. I am not even 100% sure what their views are.
Still, an interview with Turbund appears to be on the cards, so I can ask
them some interesting questions... .

In Amicitia,

Nick.
