mailing list archive - RE: Association Eumeswil web site

Dear list members,

(If you've already seen this, sorry for the hassle - I had a mail problem and couldn't be certain if messages were arriving or going out.)

I put up the new web site of the Association Eumeswil yesterday - it includes all the Association's Florence programs as well as some general information on the Association. It will eventually also include the Vancouver programs and pages on the publishing house that the Florentine chapter is presently forming. If anyone has feedback or suggestions on how the site could be improved, I would be most grateful. Please pass the link on to any other site you may know that is somehow in the field. Thank you all.

I had one question: can anyone pass on any information on articles which may have covered EJ's actual funeral? All I have heard was a brief report from two of the Association's directors who were invited. It was apparently (predictably) a very beautiful classical ceremony. Four black horses in full regalia pulled the funeral carriage to the tiny graveyard of the little church up the hill from his house, where he was buried next to Ernstel, his son, and Greta, his first wife. There was also a very lively party for invited guests in his house, with lots to drink and eat and a mixed international group of people, including Albert Hofmann, Michael Klett and others. Does anyone have any more detailed accounts?
