I understand he sees titans and humans equally under the rule of time.
The titans might be powerful in the present age, but they are not the
creators of existence, rather creatures themselves. They are maybe able
to bend time a little, but finally have to submit, like humans. This gives
hope we might be able to cope with them.

In a way will IS existence, and vice versa.

Everything has to be employed and tested, it's all a big temptation not easy
to resist, maybe not resistable at all. The tree of knowledge, and first thing
that happend out of eden was brother-slaying.
If you want people to touch something you have to put up a sign "do not
touch".
I think we have to go through all the way, but it's not in vain.
