On the other hand, real wilderness still survives here and that is perhaps even more salutary to the modern soul than diluted or decomposing old culture. A trade off. It is interesting to hear a quote from Junger on N.America - surprizingly rare in his work. I suppose all the references to Titans are applicable to NA ...
