Roberto,

If you by East mean the Tigers of
Asia, but there are vast areas in
Asia, Africa and Latin America 
(especially thinking of the Arab
world) not yet integrated.

The Goths of course were much influenced
by Roman culture. To a large extent they
also used weapons and equipment captured
from Roman armies. Also the Vandals when in
North Africa after passing through (V)andalusia
used naval warfare technique used by the Romans.
