Richard, Really don't have the liking for this. There is quite a difference between dreaming while awake (as you) and dreaming at the proper time - while sleeping. Am not denouncing you. On the contrary I wish you well and hope that you could, maybe, concentrate on sleeping dreams. Then we who are interested in real life and what some call realpolitik could go on with our business at hand. Recently read the Neunte Szene in the libretto of the new EJ opera at Nationaltheater Mannheim: "Im Hintergrund baut sich das Bild der Marina auf. The basis of this is also dreams, but not daydreams. With Juengerian wishes Bertil > Thanks for proving my point by again reducing what I've said to just = one > aspect. But what I find really strange - and at the same time = revealing - is > that you're using the word "dreaming" to denounce me. >=20 > In closing, let me say that contrary to what you assume it's precisely = the > "mystical" aspects in Juenger that I find somewhat problematic. = Because to > me they're too vague and New Agey. All this talk about the Titans -- I = mean, > it works as a poetic image or a metaphor, but shouldn't be taken too > seriously (I sometimes get the feeling some "Juengerians" regard his = remarks > on the Titans as religious revelations). However, these "mystical" = aspects > form an integral and essential part of Juenger's philosophy.=20
