Thank you walter for the story of Heiner Mueller.  It is certainly
surprising that he should take such a sympathetic view of EJ, considering
his Eastern Origins. Last time I was in Weimar, I had asked in all the
local book shops, new and used for any EJ. The range of response went from
bad to worse. One clerk even asked me why I would want that fascist writer?
