Dear Mr Riedel, The special issue is Archipiélago number 20 (Spring 1995). The issue is called " Ernst Jünger, la edad de los patriarcas" and the table of contents is the following: -Andrés Sánchez Pascual: Ernst Jünger, un testigo del siglo XX - Rotraut Fischer: La espada y la pluma ( translation made by Pedro Madrigal) -Juan Diez del Corral: El abismo iluminado - Enrique Ocańa: Memorias de ultratumba - Miguel Ángel Velasco: El dibujo de la savia - Antonio Escohotado: Siguiendo al rebelde. - Ernst Jünger: Entierro en la aldea ( it's just the entry from Juenger's diary from 29-June-1968) The adress is : Archipielago C/ Cardener, nş 31, bajos 08024 Barcelona Phone&fax: (34) 93-210 85 03 Although I don't know if they have changed of adress. I know Archipielago has published some other schort articles about EJ, at least one or two more. If you can wait until wednesday I think i'll be able to find it in my little archive so i'll tell you the issue numbers and the contents. About Emilio Bosque Gross, I think you are talking about two different things. What you say is his doctoral dissertation where he compares Huxley and Junger. After that, in 1990 he published "Heroismo y razón en Ernst Jünger" in Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca. Unfortunaly I can't tell you if both are the same book or not, since I haven´t been able to get any of the two works. Perhaps Roberto or Isaac can give us some help. As I know you are working in compiling an extensive bibliography on EJ, I think that perhaps you'd be interested in this other book, although it doesn't deal directly with EJ. In 1996, the Foundation Canovas del Castillo published a book about Carl Schmitt called " Estudios sobre Carl Schmitt". One of its articles is written by José Luis Villacańas, professor of philosophy in the University of Murcia. The article, which is 40 pages long, is called "Tecnica y política. O sobre el sentido del discurso esencial de Martin Heidegger en relación con el discurso político de CS". Its chapter 6 is called "Jünger y Schmitt sobre técnica y mito"( EJ and CS on Technique and Myth), and it's about 6 pages long. I don't if you are interested in such an article, but just in case i give you the address: Fundación Cánovas del Castillo Colección VEINTIUNO Marqués de la Ensenada,14,3ş,Pta 25 28004 Madrid Hope it helps, With best wishes from Mallorca, Daniel ----- Original Message ----- From: John King <jejking@enek.pair.com> To: <juenger-list@juenger.org> Sent: Monday, May 08, 2000 12:30 PM Subject: [Juenger-list] RE: Journal "Archipelago" (Special Issue on ErnstJünger ) >From: "Nicolai.Riedel" <riedel@dla-marbach.de> >To: juenger-list-admin@juenger.org >X-MO-Body-Names: RE: Journal "Archipelago" (Special Issue on Ernst > Jünger) >Date: Fri, 5 May 2000 13:43:27 +0200 >X-Mailer: MailOne 3.0 >Sender: juenger-list-admin@juenger.org >X-BeenThere: juenger-list@juenger.org >X-Mailman-Version: 1.2 (experimental) >List-Id: for discussion of the life and works of Ernst and Friedrich Georg Jünger <juenger-list.juenger.org> > >Dear Daniel, > >in your message to Isaac Rubio you mention a journal with the title >"Archipelago" which has published a special issue on Ernst Jünger in >1995. > >I am very interested to know about more about that: a table of contents, >a complete copy of this issue (for the Jünger-Collection in our >library).
