The first sentence is grammatically ambiguous in this point: in the act of naming, do we venerate the stars or the gods and animals? The subsequent sentences show that the object of veneration is irrelevant here, can be any god [temples and prayers] or the sun [hailed by the concert of animals]. It is the act that matters. Even if you refuse to adore, revere, worship or venerate anybody or anything you cannot help doing so because you do it by your mere existence.
