Hi, Junguerites René, a complet description, as usual. Nothing to add, just three small comments: The metaphor about keys is not only simbolic. As it seems, LSD do nothing by itself, it only acts as a "key" open and locking some "doors" in the sinapsis between neurones. The reference about Mexico and West is interesting - it remeber me of McLuhan( the coming of East). Though, I would not say LSD is Mexican (its posible that greeks take a similar pharmakos at Eleusis - but may be that greeks were much more oriental than us: pure europeans:-) ). And another question is that at high doses is difficult to distinguish between LSD; Mescalin, Psilocibin, etc... The coment on the individual and life-after-death touches the nerve of Die Schere: it is what is about. But the problem remains: what is the individual? can we separe what is "I" and what is "the other", or "the colective"? what part of "us" belongs to to the kingdom of Dis Schere that doesn´t cut?. best regards Roberto
