EJ and Konrad Lorenz

I entered the list a short time ago and I don't know if someone on the
list is interested in a comparison between EJ and Konrad Lorenz. Apart
from the "obvious" differences between them, there are so many
similarities, for instance they are both unconventional personalities,
even if in a different way, as well as essayists and biologists and so on. 
Finally, they are both charged with a serious illness: "conservatism".

I would like to know as many opinions as possible.
