If you let me throw some thought on the matter I always supossed
that tree of life and tree of knowledge were metaphor for the means used
to reach imortality. The first use a "natural" relation between the
individual and natural forces, the other interposes and creates forces
throught technologie. I remember for instance the part when Venator is in
Vigo garden's and Vigo calls his attention to a tree that was stroke by a
lightning. "Reconstruction of the form through the substance" if I
remember correctly was the comment Vigo did. It is this interaction with
the substance that one reaches in the florest. More them the power of
technologie is the effects of natural products (herbs, trees) that are
meant in the tree of life. I, for instance, although biologists are
members of the cientific community, relat them more to the florest them
the catacumb. Neverthless, when one comes to the point of working with
genetics and experiment in the "code of origin" I'm not sure were to place
them. Anyhow there's a sentence in Eumeswill that should not be also
forgotten. Sorry not recall the exact words but says something about to
