http://www.juenger.org/maillisttest/maillist.html What you see here is the test site for the new mailling list archives. I have spent the last few evenings developing both a configuration script and a suitable stylesheet to render the vast quantity of posts to this mailing list in a fashion which is commensurate with the new look and feel for the site. This work has been necessary for a couple of key reasons: 1. The software I used to generate the previous local archives (all from the Oxford based list) could not cope with the format used by the pairlist software which currently runs this mailing list. 2. As you can see from http://one.pairlist.net/pipermail/juenger-list/ and http://www.juenger.org/OxfordMailArchive/index.html, the list archives were not presented in what I felt was an adequate visual form. 3. The previous indexing runs could not reach the later archives. The next steps are: - render all the archives in this new look and feel - setup htdig (local search engine) to index all the archives - configure the htdig pages in the new look and feel - search engine has all the mailling list archives available to it PS - I know that the links to "Index of Archives" and "About these Archives" do not work at present. And the mail http://www.juenger.org/maillisttest/msg00011.html is all over the place - again, posting attachments and HTML mail is not helpful... Regards, John
