The best English translation in my view of Kat=E9chon seems to be Restrai=
ner
as it has the connection, I believe, with classical Greek (kata =3D down,
echein =3D to hold). The Kat=E9chon would then be the one who restrains
Anti-Christ.

Container as related to containment has the modern meaning
"hold back" as in holding back communism plus the meaning
of a modern device for transportation via ship.

If we should believe Juenger himself Anarch is a development of the
Gestalt (figure) Waldgaenger. On the other hand the word Gestalt is very
unclear.

As for Uebermensch I would not, personally, think there is any relation
between that term and Kat=E9chon.
