His book _Die Titanen_ (1944 I think) was a great inspiration to EJ when he developed his mythical use of these Greek gods in his later writings. Couldn't say anything about Hamann but try Amazon.com to check. Sorry about using German in my contribution on Cioran's discussion of EJ earlier but sometimes it is necessary to use the original German. Think knowledge of German is essential but not necessary to fully enjoy the contributions on this list. Best wishes Bertil Haggman
