So, Bruno Reiman is having another go at Ernst J=FCnger is he? His 1995 work with Renate Ha=DFel "Ein Ernst J=FCnger Brevier. J=FCngers politische Publizistik 1923-33. Analyse und Dokumentation" (Marburg: BdWi Verlag, 1995) was a very poor piece of work. Cf my comments on p. 248 of my thesis (http://www.juenger.org/pdf/THESIS_27_12_1999.pdf). Has anyone read the new effort by Reiman? Does he have any new insights or is it all the same, tired old cliches about the "fascist" J=FCnger = that he churned out last time? What is particularly interesting about the journalism of the 1920s and 1930s is the fragmentation and contradiction involved. When will people like Reiman learn how to read texts critically rather than take their posturing at face value? That's something we generally learn in the first year of a university literature course... >Bruno W. Im Herbst,=20 >wenn bei Klett-Cotta J=FCngers "Kampfschriften" erscheinen, wird sich zeigen, wie verl=E4sslich >Reimann gearbeitet hat.=20 Question - does anyone know anything about the publication of the journalism by Klett? Who is editing it? Will it be complete? Will it contain "Nationalismus und Judenfrage"... Mit freundlichem Gruss aus London, John
